What to expect

The role is responsible for managing the teams that have responsibility for taking potential new Postmasters through the Suitability Assessments process as well as the scheduling of training and support for all our postmasters. You will have direct line management responsibility for two teams of four which will include acting as an escalation point of contact as well as maintaining and updating process controls. 


You will ensure all policies are being followed by the teams as well as quality assuring and signing off on all Suitability Assessments. You will be accountable for workload allocation, performance management and producing weekly reports for key stakeholders across the wider business. 


Quality performance monitoring and reporting skills are key for this role as is the need for continuous improvement to ensure the team deliver a high quality timely service. Ultimately the role is responsible for putting the postmaster front of mind and central to what we do.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of strong leadership and people management skills and the ability to work independently. Ideally you will also have:


•  A passion for developing and motivating people 
•  Strong computer literacy including Microsoft packages 
•  Experience working on Projects and be strategically minded 
•  Strong stakeholder engagement skills 
•  Good knowledge of Post Office and our systems
