Description:
An opportunity has arisen with Clachaig Inn Ltd for an experienced Head Housekeeper.
Based in Glencoe you will manage the Housekeeping department. The department oversees the daily upkeep of the 23 bedroom award winning Inn and a further 11 self-catering chalets & cottages located in Glencoe & Ballachulish.
You will report directly to the General Manager and take full responsibility for the training & development of your team, including recruitment & retention, H&S, COSHH and company procedures. You will be accountable for the cleanliness of all guestrooms, public areas and all properties.
You should be financially aware and able to run your department ensuring that your costs are kept in line with company budgets. You must ensure high levels of stock control & consistent service standards are maintained at all times.
You will be a key member of the management team. You will also assume the role of Duty Manager covering guest breakfast service.
Previous experience of a position in a 3 or 4 star property to either a Head Housekeeper or Assistant Head Housekeeper level is preferred. You should be well presented with great attention to detail.
You will be required to work to the needs of the business and therefore weekend hours are necessary with the role. You will receive a competitive salary based on your experience and there is accommodation available for the right person.

Experience in similar role essential.
