JOB TITLE: Advanced Analytics Manager

LOCATIONS: Leeds, Edinburgh, or Bristol

SALARY: £68,202 - £75,780

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) at our Leeds, Edinburgh, or Bristol locations.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Advanced Analytics Manager to join the IP&I Data & Analytics Office which is pushing the boundaries of technology. The role holder will have a vital role in modernizing and optimizing our data infrastructure. If you are passionate about cutting-edge technologies and have a knack for transforming legacy systems into efficient, scalable solutions, we want you on our team!

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions that bridge the gap between traditional and cloud-based systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless data migration, integration, and overall performance enhancement.

Here’s where you’ll make the difference:

  • Architect and implement data solutions on cloud platforms on GCP

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and modernize legacy data systems

  • Develop ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading

  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards

  • Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows to improve performance

  • Provide technical expertise in data-related projects and initiatives

What you will need

  • Proven experience in cloud-based data engineering in GCP

  • Solid understanding of legacy data systems and experience in modernization efforts

  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) for data engineering tasks

  • Strong SQL skills and expertise in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)

  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools

  • Experience with data integration tools and frameworks

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsExperience in working in a fast paced agile environment
