Job Description

Deliver the safe operation of recreational facilities, including swimming pools within a defined geographical area, by assisting the Duty Officer in the development and improvement of all service areas and providing a high standard of customer relations. There is a requirement to undertake manual handling on a daily basis.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery.

There are two positions available for the following contracts, Please state in your application which vacancy you wish to apply for (or both)

8 Hour Contract

Week 1 - Wednesday 16:15-20:30 & Sunday 07:45-13:00

Week 2 - Wednesday 16:15-21:15 & Thursday 16:00-20:00

Week 3 - Sunday 07:45-13:15

5.75 Hour Contract

Week 1 - Sunday 07:45-15:45

Week 2 - Wednesday 15:30-20:45

Week 3 - Wednesday 16:30-20:30

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

This post has a minimum requirement of one reference, which must be your current or most recent employer.
