Job Purpose: The Highland Community Planning Partnership is a partnership where public bodies work together with the local community, to plan for, resource and provide services which improve local outcomes. There is a key focus on reducing inequalities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new team of partnership officers from across organisations in Highland to support and deliver on improved outcomes for Highland communities.

The post holder will support the co-ordination and delivery of local partnership plans, priorities and actions. They will lead on wider community engagement and supporting community involvement in the work of the Partnership.

The successful applicant should have a strong background and understanding in partnership working and experience in a co-ordination role.

The post holder will be a skilled communicator, self-motivated and with a commitment to building and developing local relationships

The post holder will be employed by The Highland Council but will work on behalf of the Highland Community Planning Partnership. They will be responsible to the Partnership Development Manager in conjunction with the Community Partnership Chair.

Requirements

Educated to degree level or relevant professional qualification OR Demonstrate evidence of degree level of educational ability through experience of working in an equivalent job role 

Driving licence and/or access to personal transport
