What to expect
As a DevOps Engineer, you will join us on our journey and undertake a truly valuable role responsible for contributing to the development of fully functional, cloud-native applications and microservices.
Working collaboratively with delivery teams to align development and operations activities, you will ensure seamless deployment and optimisation of the overall efficiency of the software development lifecycle. In addition, you will be working closely alongside colleagues within the Environments, Tooling and Automation Team and be responsible for improving collaboration, automation, and the reliability of systems within the environment.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced DevOps Engineer with expert knowledge in cloud-based infrastructure services. In addition, you will:
- Demonstrate experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK)
- Possess experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Possess first class communication skills with and ability to collaborate and influence
- Have experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) and modern programming language, e.g. C#, Java, C++, Go, Rust etc (We use Go + Typescript)
- Hold a a degree, or equivelant, in computer science or a related field
