An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to join our supportive and welcoming community rehabilitation team in Perth City
This post offers an exciting opportunity for an OT to develop their physical skills and knowledge working within a community setting.
This post involves working closely within an integrated multi-disciplinary team.
You will be part of a dedicated and dynamic team providing person centred assessment and rehabilitation to prevent admission to hospital, support hospital discharge and engage people in meaningful activities within their home and the community.
Our Service provides excellent formal and informal supervision, actively supports individual development through performance development review and learning plans, provides a framework for encouraging CPD and promotes innovative practice.

Perth is located in a beautiful area on the east coast of Scotland and major cities are easily accessible.

Hours of work are: 37 hours per week

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
