JOB TITLE: Head of Investments (Operations)
LOCATION: Edinburgh
HOURS: Full Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time in the office.

About this opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Investments to join our Edinburgh based team. You'll lead the provision of a comprehensive business support service to meet the needs of a significant business area, shaping operating models, providing effective leadership for the function and participating in business strategy, influencing partners and be a key member of the senior management team.

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Manages key client and customer relationships, typically by using account teams to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty toward the organisation.
  • Manage relationships with strategic internal customers and act as their business partner, while using large support teams to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Provides input into the development of compliance policies, develops underlying procedures, and monitors their implementation for area of responsibility within the organisation.
  • Takes responsibility for developing and delivering change management plans and achieving outcomes that support the organisation's overall strategy.
  • Takes responsibility for fulfilling business plans for a significant functional business area by effectively leading a large team.
  • Engages with senior business leaders to understand long-term strategic challenges.
  • Support the overall organisational strategy by developing and delivering operational plans and outcomes for a large portion of the business.
  • Develops functional or operational policies and participates in developing policy frameworks for area of responsibility or department, creating underlying procedures and monitoring their implementation within the organisation.
  • Develops strategic solutions to long-term business needs by anticipating complex issues, challenges and opportunities.
  • Takes responsibility for developing and delivering an approach to strategic planning for a key part of the organisation.
