We’re looking for a Control Systems Development Team Lead based out of our Lomondgate Production Facility.

The Control Systems Development Team Lead is responsible for:

  • delivering Aggreko’s hybrid power plant control system. 

  • leading the control system design,

  • driving best practice development processes, and managing task allocation among the team.

  • leading a team of Control Systems Engineers and Automation Engineers,

  • working in collaboration with the Product Management team, you and your team will develop the control systems that will enable ever higher renewable energy integration into Aggreko’s projects and drive operational efficiency,

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of engineers to deliver a complex product to the required quality and timeline

  • Working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink toolchain and profound knowledge of the model-based development paradigm

  • Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers and industrial automation systems

  • Commitment to quality, attention to detail, but mindful of impact on project timelines

  • Degree-level education in electrical engineering, software engineering or related discipline

  • Experience of designing and implementing test automation and continuous integration systems would be beneficial
