Trainee Health Visitor Positions - Band 7 Annex21
Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership
We have an exciting opportunity for an NMC Registered Adult/Paediatric/Mental Health Nurse or Midwife to develop a career in Health Visiting within Aberdeenshire. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has the capacity and desire to undertake the post graduate MSc Advancing Practice Course – Health Visiting course part time route. This trainee post will be based in the Buchan Health Visiting team, offering a 30-hour post, 0.8WTE.
Throughout the course, you will be embedded within the Health Visiting Team in the Buchan locality who are delivering the Universal Health Visiting Pathway. You will work alongside experienced health visitors and the wider team to support you to develop and consolidate your academic learning into practice.
Robert Gordon University offer a 2-year part-time course which would commence in September 2024.
It is a requirement of the course to complete 2 clinical placements to enable consolidation of academic and clinical learning as stipulated by NMC to ensure required clinical learning hours are achieved. Therefore, all annual leave must be taken out with the clinical practice placement times.
