We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious student to join our Finance team on a 12-16 week summer internship. The internship will provide you with an insight into management accounting. You will get the opportunity to use and/or develop your understanding of finance and accounting principles and apply them to business projects and provide support to our team of management accountants.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you’ll be working within our Farms Office in Fort William. The internship will provide meaningful work experience and business knowledge. A summary of the main responsibilities below:

  • Assisting the management accounting team with annual budget process  (How much do we plan on spending next year ?)
  • Assisting with monthly variance analysis preparation and distribution (Have we spent more or less than we planned ?)
  • Assisting with monthly forecast preparation (How much do we plan on spending in the coming months ?)
  • Assisting with supplier cost analysis (Who do we spend our money with ?)
  • Ad hoc admin and finance related tasks

We are ideally looking for a student who is currently studying or has been accepted to a finance degree or any other relevant degree such as business, maths, accounting etc.
