We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our major events team. The Operations Manager will be responsible for taking the lead on major event projects from tender stage right through to successful delivery worldwide.

   

What you’ll do:

  • Successful management of the assigned project both operationally, financially and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Develop a strong trust relationship with the customer, to enable a high-quality delivery and transparent discussion on any additional costs.
  • Complete schedules and resource plans to ensure projects stay on track, hold stakeholders accountable to deliver as agreed.
  • Build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, which will include the Fleet team, Crew resource planning, multiple roles within the wider Aggreko business and other suppliers we come to work alongside.
  • Champion a safe environment for everyone, adhere to approved SOP’s and record any near misses or incidents in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all equipment is accounted for both on and off site and records are kept of all movements and shared back with the appointed fleet teams to ensure accurate status is shown in our ERP system at all times.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and large teams, onsite and remotely.
  • Excellent presentation, good communicator & high level customer service.
  • Self-motivated, able to plan and work remotely at times, but also as part of a larger team when required.
  • Manage workload to meet deadlines.
  • Technically & operationally aware
  • Good problem solver, able to work through issues when under pressure.
