Bookkeeper

Shed Accounts Ltd are looking for a new member to join the team! Shed Accounts Ltd are an ICB licenced practice providing day to day cloud bookkeeping, VAT returns, monthly management accounts, and payroll services, and self-assessment tax returns.

We work with sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and clubs and associations.

We are looking for someone with a friendly and confidential manner, who works well on their own and as part of a team. We have lovely clients and are looking for someone who is comfortable liaising with our clients, as well as their customers, suppliers, and accountant.

Our role is not just to provide a bookkeeping service but to lighten the load of our clients, so that they can regain their free time and weekends to spend with their families and hobbies without the burden of paperwork.

Requirements
  • Confidential and trustworthy
  • Self-motivated and a problem solver
  • Organised and diligent
  • Flexible approach, and able to give and receive instruction
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office packages
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping
  • You should live a commutable distance from the location in this advert

Desirable

  • Payroll experience
  • Experience of Cloud Accounting, ideally QuickBooks
  • Hold ICB Level 2, AAT Level 2, or be qualified by experience
