Care and Support Professional This job is for a Care and Support worker who will be part of a team providing 24/7 care to an individual in the community. Both day and night shifts will be available.

The requirements of this post are:

You need to be able to provide support for all aspects of daily living including accessing opportunities in the community.

You need to be competent in the administration of medication and familiar with the guidance supporting this.

You need to provide personal care and maintain the client's dignity.

You will be required to provide theraputic support within daily routines.

You need to promote independence using an active support approach where appropriate.

You need to be practical and positive in your approach. 

You need to be able to take the client out in the vihicle provided.

You need to provide support to attend healthcare appointments.

You need to take a responsible role in the maintainance and cleanliness of the client's home.

You will be required to make meals for the client.

 

 

 



 

 

Requirements

You need to have experience in working in the context of Care and Support. Relevant qualifications will be looked at positively.

You need to hold a driving lisense and be able to drive a manual vehicle.

You need to work respectfully with other team members and be flexible in the hours you can provide. 

You will be required to attend relevant training, including Professional Review and Development.

You will be required to follow and maintain health records.

You will follow the guidance of a Team Leaders(s).

Personalised training will be provided to the successful applicant(s).
