Lecturer - Core Skills (Engineering)

UHI North, West and Hebrides is seeking to recruit an appropriately experienced and qualified individual to join our engineering team on a part-time basis to develop, deliver and assess Core Skills, Engineering using IT and Communications.

UHI North, West and Hebrides is seeking to recruit an appropriately experienced and qualified individual to join our engineering team on a part-time basis to develop, deliver and assess Core Skills, Engineering using IT and Communications. You will deliver the Maths Craft 1, numeracy core skill unit and bridging maths for Nigg Skills Academy (NSA) students. 

You should be qualified in an appropriate discipline or hold industry specific qualifications relevant to the post and you will have a TQFE qualification. The post will be based at our Alness campus, where the courses will be delivered to Nigg Skills Academy cohorts. 

This is a part-time post for 9 hours per week, temporary until end of August 2024 initially. 

 

Salary:                   £35,170 - £43,357 per annum, pro rata 

Location:               Alness Campus 

Working Hours:     9 hours per week, temporary until end of August 2024 initially
