Delivery driver required for our busy West Highland Gas Ltd Depot In Lochgilphead. The work involves driving mostly 3.5 ton vehicles to deliver cylinder gas to our customers throughout mid Argyll, Kintyre and Dunoon areas. C1 entitlement / forklift experience/ ADR an advantage, though not essential. Full training provided.

West Highland Gas Ltd is a long established company with depots in Lochgilphead, Oban, Fort William and Mull and delivers cylinder gasses (Calor, BOC, Air liquide),wood fuel and coal to business and private customers throughout the area. This position is to join our busy Lochgilphead team.  This is an interesting and varied all round job involving a variety of yard work, delivery driving, forklift work, meeting customers whilst out on deliveries, some computerised office work (training provided). 

Requirements

The job is ideal for someone who is customer orientated and enjoys getting out and about driving, meeting people and is reasonably practical. It involves an element of manoevering gas cylinders into position with the assistance of lifting equipment so is ideal for someone who wants to combine their driving skills with also keeping physically fit and active and learning new skills. The ability to drive 7.5T vehicles and up to date CPC hrs and forklift certificate would be an advantage though not essential as training can be given. There is an element of basic computerised yard work and again full training will be provided
