We are looking for an experienced Seagoing engineer to join our Technical Team.
- Minimum 30 hours per week
- Hybrid Working - based in Central/West Scotland
- Contract term – 6 months with possibility of extension
You will provide technical support to the vessel, crew and shoreside teams by means of vessel inspections, defect management, dry dock arrangement/attendance, Class compliance and surveys.
As well as management of planned maintenance programmes, purchasing and budgeting. You will also provide technical and practical advice and support for company maintenance projects.
Requirements
- A valid Chief Engineer or 2 nd Engineer CoC
- Valid ENG1
- Access to your own vehicle and Full UK driving Licence
- To be based in Central or West Scotland.
- Dry dock and Defect management experience
- Strong Knowledge of Industry Rules and Regs
- Strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills
- The ability to manage and lead teams effectively
- Strong work ethic
