We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Guest Services team in our busy holiday park which is located at the foot of Ben Nevis in one of the most picturesque glens of the Scottish Highlands.

As a Bookings Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and setting up their booking. Your main responsibilities will include answering phone and email enquiries, managing bookings, and working within the reception team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

·       Handle phone and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing guests with information about our accommodation, rates, and availability.

·       Process bookings and reservations accurately, including entering data into our booking system and communicating with guests.

·       Provide guests with information about the holiday park and its facilities, as well as local attractions and activities.

·       Assist with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for guests.

·       Handle guest queries and complaints with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues to the guest's satisfaction.

·       Maintain accurate records and documentation related to bookings, payments, and guest communications.

·       Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

·       Perform additional front desk duties as required, such as handling cash transactions and providing administrative support.

·       Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.

·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

·       Proficiency in using computer systems and booking software.

·       A friendly and professional demeanour, with a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

·       Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.

Full training will be provided.
