Donald MacDonald began in 1988 working with his father John MacDonald as a kerber and drystone dyker.

As Donald began to gain contracts on his own he employed a number of self-employed sub-contractors and in 1995 his first excavator was purchased.

In 1997 the business expanded, as the current yard was purchased and a workshop and office was constructed. In that year Donald was also joined by his wife Irene, who took over the administration of the business after 10 years experience working in finance and Ian McCallum, who is still with the company today as Contracts Manager.

In early 2003 we built our current office block and in July the same year we became a limited company and now have around 55 employees. We are a civil engineering company whose business ethos is to maintain a high standard of service.

We achieve this through quality trained individuals, new plant and equipment and close contact with all our sites. We have built up a good track record of working closely with our clients and the company has grown through our reputation for quality which has lead to repeat business from satisfied clients.
