Leanchoil Trust was established in 2020 to save, conserve and repurpose Leanchoil Hospital in Forres.  To achieve this the Trust is undertaking a community asset transfer (CAT) of the hospital site and is working with partners to deliver its vision of a community health and wellbeing centre, veterans’ activity centre and supported living accommodation. 

Leanchoil Trust is led by a board of 9 volunteer Trustees who are passionate about saving Leanchoil and finding a sustainable future for it. They are supported in their work by a Project Development Officer and Project Coordinator (Technical).
